Our eggs come from chickens in movable houses on the grassland at Vasebækåen.
At Rø Jordbrug the chickens are allowed to behave like chickens. They live their free lives under the open sky, and in the removable houses. The houses are moved every second day to a new pasture, and are precisely timed with the move of sheep grazing the area before the chickens. The chickens eat the insects that attract the sheep's faeces, and at the same time act as biological manure spreaders.
And free life can be tasted - the beautiful colored grass eggs are packed with vitamins and minerals.
