Grass eggs

Our eggs come from hens in mobile houses on the grassland by Vasebækåen.

At Rø Jordbrug, the hens are allowed to behave like hens. They live their free lives in the open air, and in the mobile houses. The houses are moved every other day, to a new grass area, and are precisely timed with the movement of sheep, which grasses the area before the hens. The hens eat the insects that the sheep's faeces attract, and at the same time act as a biological manure spreader.

And the free life can be tasted - the beautiful colored grass eggs are full of vitamins and minerals.
